HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE CHURCH EVERWHERE!!

Sunday May 31st is the Day of Pentecost - and it was on this day nearly 2,000 years ago that a small group of frightened followers of Jesus (frightened because they had seen Jesus killed a few weeks before) suddenly became brave and proclaimed the amazing news that Jesus had risen from the dead.

This new bravery was an amazing miracle.  It happened because they were suddeny filled with God's Holy Spirit.

So to a beleagred church in a troubled world - troubled by many things including the Covid-19 virus - we can share the Good News - GOD LOVES US AND HE CARES.

Jesus says I am with you

The displays outside our church buildings shows that, although the buildings are closed and we can no longer meet together, the Church is still alive.  We are here to pray for, and to help, our community.

If you would like our help or our prayers - then please click here to leave a message

Sadly, due to the Covid19 virus, there will be NO activities in our church buildings for the time being, nor can we meet up with each other.  However we keep in contact using our phones, email and these web pages.  And we can, and must, pray for one another and our community.

We recently (in May) heard from Margaret and Celestin in CHAD - click here to read the latest news from them.

On Sundays why not join friends from Truro Methodist Church either at 9.22 (for a service with modern hymns) or at 11.00 for a service with more traditional hymns.  In both cases of course no congregation will be present.  For the 9.22 service click here OR click here for the 11 o'clock service  (In both cases services can be watched later by clicking the appropriate place above).

Alternatively you could use the 'home' service from our Minister,  Rev David Moss.  A copy of the service for 24th May can be downloaded by clicking here.

You can also see and hear Rev. Steve Wild each day as he shares a short daily short reflection - to see this please click here

Our news section (called "NEWS of Friends & Members") is on our banner at the top of this page.  We hope this will be a way of keeping some of us in touch.

If you live locally please also use the Contact Us page to pass on any requests (including prayer requests).  Please also use the contact us page to request copies of our Minister's Pastoral Letter.

Sunday March 22nd and until further notice - services cancelled (see above)

Jesus said "Come to me, all of you who are tired and are carrying heavy loads. I will give you rest.

Become my servants and learn from me. ...You will find rest for your souls." [Matthew 11 v28-29]
